Rats! Cute pets and terrible pests…

Rats can cause enormous headaches on a produce farm, causing serious food safety and financial risks.

The Local Food Safety Collaborative invites you to hear success stories and strategies of rat control from the farmers of Good Samaritan Farm in Atlanta, GA. They’ll be joined by Chris Callahan, Extension Associate Professor of Agricultural Engineering at the University of Vermont, and Yolanda Gonzalez, Urban Agriculture Specialist with Cornell Cooperative Extension, who will share resources and strategies they use when working with growers to reduce, prevent, and eliminate rat problems.

As always, come with questions! The second half of the webinar be open for audience Q&A. If you’re interested in the webinar but not able to attend, please register to receive the recording and transcript afterward.
