This session focuses on MEAT AND POULTRY REGULATIONS.
Farmers’ Market Workshops Go Virtual
In lieu of in-person workshops around the state, the Kansas Department of Agriculture and K-State Research & Extension will be holding a Farmers’ Market/Direct-to-Consumer Virtual Conference the week of Feb. 15th:
- Food Safety: Tues., Feb. 16th, 12-1 p.m.
- Meat & Poultry Regs: Wed., Feb. 17th, 12-1 p.m.
- Taxes & EBT/SNAP: Thurs., Feb. 18th, 12-1 p.m.
- Main Workshop: Fri., Feb. 19th, 8:30-12:30 p.m.
Cost of the entire week is $5.
If you are unable to participate in a virtual workshop, local Extension offices around the state will be offering the opportunity to come and watch recordings of the virtual workshops upon request.
Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program training will be available as part of this workshop, but will also be available at other times.
Scale certification will be available, but you must register for the workshops first. You will then be contacted to schedule a scale certification timeslot and location.
Cost: $5 for one or all sessions
